Atlantic Avenue Historic Building Scavenger Hunt & Other Holiday Fun

Saturday November 29th, 10am to 12pm

Bring children of all ages to do the Atlantic Avenue Family Scavenger Hunt on Saturday November 29th starting at 10am, Saturday November 29th at The Moxie Spot, 81 Atlantic Avenue. Families are encouraged to bring their best searching skills to look at Atlantic Avenue’s wonderful old buildings to find the answers. Clues include “The triple-height column musn’t be missed, this one’s so special it’s designed with a ________.”

At 12 pm families return to The Moxie Spot to determine who has the most correct answers, for a $50 gift certificate to any business on Atlantic Avenue. In case of a tie, the winner will be determined by a draw.

Annual Atlantic Avenue Tree Lighting Ceremony & Holiday Party presented by the AALDC

Belarusian Church at 401 Atlantic Avenue, corner of Bond Street in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn

Annual Tree Lighting at 6pm sharp officiated by NYC Council Member Stephen Levin

* Annual Atlantic Avenue Holiday Window Design Competition winners to be announced
* Holiday party with live performances by Rolie Polie Guacamole and dance and music by children of public schools 38 and 261
* Holiday treats provided by local shops and restaurants
* Special guest Santa will greet the children
* Toy & Book drive (bring new toy or book fully wrapped with written note on wrapping paper indicating appropriate gender and age group)
