AABID Announces the Brooklyn Women’s Business Mentoring Initiative

The Atlantic Avenue Business Improvement District is launching a mentorship initiative for start-up women entrepreneurs in Brooklyn!

Over the course of six weeks in early 2014 a small group of women entrepreneurs will be paired with merchants within the Atlantic Avenue Business Improvement District to learn firsthand how to run a successful business. The program is a great collaboration between the Business Outreach Center’s Women’s Business Center, the Brooklyn YWCA, whose mission includes financial empowerment of women, and the Atlantic Avenue BID that is proud to contain many successful women owned and women led small businesses.

Huge thanks to Sujatha Sebastian from BOC – WBC who is leading this initiative, Martha Kamber, Cathleen Coswell, Michele Davis, and the Brooklyn YWCA, as well as all of the participating entrepreneurs from the Atlantic Avenue Business Improvement District.
